The Foxlease Park magic strikes again as we discovered today that THE TUMBLE DRYER SINGS TOO!!  We're not sure if it always knew, or if The Singing Washing Machine's been teaching it, but either way our very busy Laundry is now delightfully tuneful!

We have to share our particular thanks to our volunteers Steph and Carole today who we pounced on to jump to work as they literally drove up the drive due to an urgent need to finish cleaning one area of the site before some contractors arrived, when they had just arrived about four hours earlier than we were hoping.  They cleaned for us like absolute champions and full credit to them and to all of the wonderful volunteers who have helped us meet our deadline over the last week and a bit.  Time stops for no foxie!

Shredder the shredder, newly arrived from the Amazon has been hard at work all day in the office keeping us on top of our confidential waste and nice and GDPR compliant.  We've also had lots of meetings about exciting future opportunities and booking queries which we're working our way through.

Volunteer Gordon has renamed The Barn "ivy point" at the moment due to the challenge of clearing the highest peak of the roof but that'll only be temporary.  Otherwise, he's cleared everything within reach single-handedly and the difference around the whole building is immense!  We were also lucky he was on site today for round 2 of the lock negotiations from yesterday; as it turned out being more forceful was the answer and there was a true "ta-da!" moment as he burst out of the door having got it to move.

Back tomorrow for another verse (we might ask The Singing Tumble Dryer if it knows any carols), Love Foxie x
