Foxlease Park Activities
On the water activities
Kayaking
Play games, gain water confidence and try a new sport. Water activities take place on the Foxlease Park Lake. A 90 minute session for up to 10 participants.
Minimum age 7, maximum weight 16 stone. Each organisation needs to follow their own rules, we require all participants to be water confident. Non-swimmers should be comfortable in the water, be able to float whilst using a buoyancy aid or life jacket and also be capable of following instructions should they be in the water. If they are a weak or non-swimmer we are likely to require them to wear a life jacket rather than a buoyancy aid. If you have more than one weak or non-swimmer in your group please inform us four weeks before.
All instructors will be qualified to a minimum of Paddle UK Paddlesports Instructor.
Risk assessment: Paddle sport RA
Wear: t-shirt/shorts/leggings/trainer style shoes you don't mind getting wet - must be fastened - no crocs, flop flops, sliders, wellies. Fleece/waterproof for cooler weather.
Canoeing
Open canoes take more than one participant supporting teamwork and communication skills. Water activities take place on the Foxlease Park Lake. A 90 minute session for up to 10 participants.

Raft building
Enjoy a 90 minute session for up to 10 participants. Participants will take part in a raft build and then get to launch their raft on Foxlease Park Lake.

AM sesison 1 - 9:00-10:30
AM session 2 - 11:00-12:30
PM session 1 - 13:30-15.00
PM session 2 - 15.30-17:00
Evening session 18:00-19.30
